Because Novelpia owns the rights to those titles, they can claim them even outside Korea. That’s why they sent me the takedown notice. And they also launched Novelpia Global which provides thier korean novels in English.
Yeah, I already did that. I removed the publisher tag on Novelupdates, as well as the original Korean title and the author’s name, yet I still received a DMCA notice.
On Ko-fi, I even used different Novel names and kept all my chapters locked, but despite that, Ko-fi still unpublished my page for copyright infringement and informed me that it will not be republished again.
What happened to the other novels?
ReplyDeleteGet DMCA takedown notice from Novelpia.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that happened to yo.
DeleteWhy do they have claim to those titles?

Deleteyou should've removed the publisher tag on Novelupdates for those series, they're definitely using NU to easily find who to DMCA because of that.
Deleteremove all publisher tag from all series going forward, why help them DMCA yourself
