Chapter 008
“So in the end, it was all because of your in-laws.”
“Y-Yes… no… I mean… yes…”
Having finally poured out her entire story, Minju let out a long, heavy sigh.
The truth was, her ex-husband had graduated from S University.
Not just him—his entire family was a prestigious line of doctors, all S University alumni.
In comparison, Minju had only attended an ordinary university in Gyeonggi Province.
Back in school, she had been pretty enough to model for the university’s promotional materials and even did a few advertising gigs on the side.
It was during a shoot for a plastic surgery clinic ad that she met her future husband—the doctor there.
She had thought marrying a doctor meant she would live in luxury forever.
But married life hadn’t gone the way she imagined.
Her in-laws began looking down on her for coming from a “no-name” university.
To them, she was just a pretty body who had seduced their son with her looks and nothing else.
The constant pressure and disdain from her in-laws strained her marriage until it finally broke apart in divorce.
Fortunately, she had won custody of their son, Jinsu, and received a substantial property settlement, so financially she was comfortable.
But Jinsu had become her Achilles’ heel.
Every time his grades slipped, it felt like the in-laws’ curses were coming true—her heart would sink in terror.
“So Jinsu’s grades suddenly started dropping recently?”
“Yes… I was so scared he really had inherited my bad brain.”
Whenever his scores fell, the in-laws blamed her.
She had pushed him relentlessly to bring his grades back up.
But lately, his performance had plummeted again.
She had begun to blame herself—wondering if he truly was just like her, doomed to be “stupid.”
“Sigh… I was desperate to get him into S University somehow, but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen the way I wanted.”
The constant pressure had driven a wedge between her and her son.
And it was in the middle of all that that she had met Seongmin.
“You’re the first person I’ve ever told all this to.”
Tears welled up in Minju’s eyes as she spoke the words aloud for the first time.
She never imagined she would bare her soul like this to the young man living downstairs—someone young enough to be her son.
Yet now that she had, a strange sense of relief washed over her chest.
Seongmin, who had listened seriously the entire time, gave a small nod.
“I understand. I’ll keep that in mind.”
He wasn’t confident he could guarantee Jinsu would get into S University.
But from what Minju said, Jinsu wasn’t actually bad at studying.
He had apparently been maintaining top-tier grades until recently—he had just started slacking off.
Meeting Jinsu first seemed like the right step.
“If you’re free tomorrow, I’ll talk to Jinsu.”
“Do whatever you think is best, Seongmin.”
Minju bowed her head, cheeks flushed.
For a fleeting moment, Seongmin felt the urge to take her again right then and there.
But he quickly shook the thought away.
‘Four times in one go would be too much. I’m not some kind of beast…’
By any normal standard, three rounds was already excessive.
He probably could have gone again, but he was satisfied enough.
Compared to his previous life—where he had died without ever experiencing this at all—this was already an unbelievable achievement.
Even now, he could see Minju’s legs still trembling faintly.
He didn’t want to push too far and risk ruining what they had built.
So without checking her status again, he stood up.
“Then I’ll head out for today…”
As soon as Seongmin rose, Minju sprang to her feet to see him off.
She followed behind him with her hands politely clasped together.
“So… tomorrow, when…?”
She was reluctant to let him leave.
Even though he was young, he had come from S University—just like her ex-husband—and yet he possessed an astonishing ability to handle women.
Since her son wasn’t home anyway, she wanted to ask him to stay the night.
She imagined spending the rest of the night—and the morning—wrapped in hot passion with him in her bed.
That was why she hadn’t bothered putting her underwear back on and had kept her outfit as revealing as possible.
But Seongmin didn’t even glance at her exposed state—he simply headed toward the front door.
Then she felt something hot trickling down her inner thigh.
“Oh—!”
She flinched and nearly stumbled.
Only then did Seongmin turn back to look at her.
“What’s wrong?”
“N-Nothing… it’s just… your semen is dripping out…”
Thinking this might be her last chance, she quickly lifted the hem of her skirt.
Without panties, her thighs, mound, and parted slit were fully exposed.
Thick, pearly fluid—Seongmin’s release from earlier—slowly oozed down from between her folds.
Seongmin’s eyes caught the sight of her raised skirt and the glistening trail running along her inner thigh.
A long streak of milky white liquid shimmered between the soft cleft of her entrance.
For a split second, the magic club twitched angrily, surging with renewed heat, but Seongmin forced himself to ignore it and turned away.
“I’ll get going then…”
With cold resolve, he opened the front door and stepped outside.
Minju tried to follow him all the way out, but he closed the door firmly behind him.
Only then did Seongmin let out a long, shaky breath.
“Fuck… that was close.”
The moment he saw her exposed inner thighs, he had almost lost control and rushed back inside.
‘If I had, she’d definitely think I’m some kind of pervert.’
Shaking his head, he took the emergency stairs down to his own apartment.
***
Thud.
Back home, Seongmin collapsed straight onto his bed.
Fortunately, his parents—who ran their own business—hadn’t come home yet.
Thinking about how hard they worked every day made him feel a little guilty for spending the whole day tangled up with a woman.
Still, if he started tutoring Jinsu tomorrow, at least he could ease some of their financial burden.
With that comforting thought, he lay back, planning to wait for them.
So much had happened in just one day.
He had experienced death.
He had met what he assumed was God.
And then he had regressed.
“Is this all really real… not just a dream?”
Even now, the changes felt awkward and surreal.
He had never even been on a single date in his entire previous life.
Yet today he had actually talked to Taehee—the girl he had quietly loved from afar.
That alone felt like a miracle.
But that was only the beginning.
He still couldn’t forget the image of the upstairs lady—Minju—kneeling before him, speaking politely while eagerly sucking his magic club with complete devotion.
Nor could he forget the way she had lifted her skirt at the front door, showing him everything.
‘Every single moment was pure gold.’
Seongmin casually lifted the waistband of his pants to peek inside.
There, sleeping peacefully, lay the still-impressive magic club.
It was hard to believe that this massive thing had plunged in and out of Minju’s body multiple times.
Each time it did, she had trembled violently, convulsing in ecstasy.
These were experiences he had never once had in his previous life.
“I hope she doesn’t think I’m a pervert…”
Seongmin still didn’t fully understand women’s hearts.
That’s why he had to be extra careful.
Thankfully, the ability he’d been given was a huge help.
Thanks to it, he had learned about Taehee’s troubles and even made a promise to meet her again.
He thought again about his ability.
‘It definitely activates when I get hard and focus on someone… I get basic information then.’
It was a bit of a perverted trigger, but the magic club had to stand proud and throb toward the target before the status window appeared.
And from his experience with Minju, when he actually inserted it inside her—when they truly connected—the information became far more detailed.
‘I’m not completely sure, but… maybe this really is a “magic club” that opens a woman’s heart.’
He wanted to test its limits more.
But for someone who had never even held a girl’s hand in his entire previous life, he wasn’t sure when—or if—another chance would come.
Lost in these thoughts, exhaustion suddenly crashed over him like a wave.
“Yawn… it felt amazing, but why am I so sleepy?”
The magic club may have grown huge, but his basic physical stamina was still that of an ordinary guy.
Having gone three rounds with Minju in that condition, his body was completely drained.
If he had pushed for one more round at her place, he might have literally passed out mid-thrust.
Seongmin quickly began to drift into sleep.
He had meant to wait up for his parents, but the overwhelming drowsiness was impossible to fight.
‘This kind of “discharge” isn’t so bad…’
Having had his first real experience today, Seongmin fell asleep with a deep sense of satisfaction.
The pride he felt made sleep come easier than ever.
But just as he slipped under, a faint sound brushed his ear.
[Ding. Physical recovery commencing.]
***
“Seongmin?”
A voice seemed to call him from the sky.
His consciousness—blurred white—slowly returned at the sound.
“Huh… Mom?”
“Hey, why are you sleeping this late?”
Seongmin had always kept a strict routine: same bedtime, same wake-up time.
He believed regularity was essential for studying.
But today that routine had shattered—he had slept far longer than usual.
His mother looked at him with worry in her eyes.
“Yesterday you went to bed early too… you’re not sick, are you?”
Seongmin quietly looked at his worried mother.
In both his previous life and now, her eyes always carried that same concern for him.
Seeing that unchanging gaze made his heart feel unexpectedly at ease.
“No, I was just a little tired.”
Truthfully, his body still felt heavy and sore.
He had pushed himself too hard yesterday—his whole body ached like it was creaking—but at the same time, his mood was brighter and more refreshed than ever before.
‘To think I’d even feel like I’ve been reborn…’
His mother still looked worried, but seeing his bright expression, she eventually nodded.
“Okay. I’ll set breakfast out, so make sure you eat. Studying is important, but take it easy too.”
“No, let’s eat together right now.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I’ll be right out.”
His parents ran a Korean restaurant and usually came home very late at night.
Even so, they were already rushing to prepare for another early morning shift.
In the past, Seongmin—who always left early for school—had rarely seen his parents getting ready to leave.
Naturally, he hadn’t eaten breakfast with them in years.
When he stepped out of his room, his father was already seated at the table.
“Huh? No school today?”
“Yeah, I have another appointment today.”
“I see. Honey! Hurry and give our son some food!”
“I’m already on it!”
To his parents, their son who excelled at studying had always been a source of pride.
Seongmin knew that, which was why he had pushed himself so hard academically.
But looking back now, he realized he had only ever been their “good student son”—never a warm, affectionate one.
He could barely remember the last time he sat down to eat with them like this.
As he took his seat at the table, he could see his parents’ faces brighten noticeably.
“Aren’t you tired getting up so early for work every day?”
“Tired? Dad’s still full of energy. It’s your mom I worry about.”
“What are you saying? I’m still full of energy too.”
“Haha, yeah. Our son has to keep working hard until he becomes a prosecutor or judge someday.”
His parents laughed brightly, but Seongmin’s heart felt heavy.
Only now did he realize that the reason he could study without a single worry was entirely because of their sacrifices.
Those things were finally starting to become visible to him.
Feeling a weight in his chest, he scooped some soup into his mouth and spoke.
“By the way… I’m thinking of starting a part-time job.”
“Huh? A part-time job?”
“Son? Why all of a sudden? If you need money, just say so.”
His parents looked surprised.
It was only natural—they were shocked to hear their son, who had only ever focused on studying, suddenly talk about working.
Especially his father, who asked seriously,
“Is it because you need money? If that’s the case, don’t worry about it.”
But Seongmin answered calmly.
“I’ve always been grateful that you let me study without worrying about money. But honestly… I think I need some real-world experience.”
“Experience? What do you mean?”
“I’m fully prepared for the bar exam. But all I’ve ever done is study—I barely have any social experience.”
“Is that really important for the bar exam?”
“Yeah. Knowledge without real-life experience is useless. Now that I have some breathing room in my studies, I want to gain some practical experience through a part-time job.”
His parents fell silent for a moment, thinking it over.
But soon they nodded.
His father smiled.
“Yeah… that’s a good idea too. Looks like Dad was worrying for nothing.”
“Oh my, when did our son grow up so much?”
For now, his explanation had convinced them.
Seongmin then casually brought up the tutoring job with the upstairs neighbor’s son, Jinsu.
Since his parents already knew Jinsu by face, they weren’t too worried.
Apparently, people had been asking Seongmin to tutor for a while now.
But they had never mentioned it to him, afraid it would interfere with his studies.
After a pleasant breakfast together, his parents left for work.
Seongmin took his time showering and changing clothes for once.
But while looking in the mirror, something felt off.
“Huh? Did I… gain weight?”
There was a subtle sense of dissonance in his reflection.
He looked like himself from yesterday, yet somehow slightly fuller—more solid.
But before he could dwell on it, his phone buzzed.
Vrrr.
When he looked at the screen, a bright smile spread across his face.
“It’s Taehee.”
